ORIGINAL ART: " 11 7/8 " High X 11 3/4" Wide X 1/8" Deep Aluminum Art
Notes for art: This piece is etched with a metal grinder to make the design in the aluminum, taped off the metal and drew on the tree, gondola and cable lines. Then I airbrushed see through candy car paints in the sky and tree area. I then clear coated the whole piece and finished it by painting enamel brushstroke trees and the gondola with black enamel. The snow accents I painted with airbrush and white enamel.
Art Story: I've been wanting to paint this idea for many years but I've not gotten around to it... until now! I'm so excited to start painting more gorgeous winter scenes as I'm a retired professional snowboarder that used to travel the world competing in the X-games, Vans Triple Crowns, World Cup, World Championships, etc.. I have so many unbelievable memories of traveling to mountain resorts and experiencing nature in it's extreme epicness. It's time to bring these memories back to life and share them with the world!
