Due to the COVID-19 closures my production partner has closed with the government enforced shutdown. Any product in my shop that is not an original painting will be on production delays. Orders placed during the shutdown will be processed in the order of receipt.
*All my original paintings are available for purchase and are sent directly from my private art studio. I'm healthy and have been isolating (happily painting in my studio) since the beginning of March.
TITLE: "La'a kea O Kekaha" Hawaiian Meaning: La'a kea = Sacred or Holy Light, O = of, Kekaha = Town on West side of Kauai, Hawaii
ARTIST: Christie Marie Elder-Russell
MEDIUM: Fine Art Acrylic Print
ART STORY: My husband is part Hawaiian and his family is from the West side of Kauai from a town called Kekaha. The west side has lots of history and stories for the Hawaiians. My husband loves his family and has great memories of his "Tutu" grandmother from Hawaii. This is a painting representing his grandmother who was an amazing "light" and "soul" to many! I never got to meet her but have been inspired by the many stories from her family that Love and Miss her so wanted to paint this in honor her.
