ART STORY: Have you ever worked around or owned horses? It’s awesome ~ they all have unique personalities and have relationship with each other ~and of coarse people too! When I was a kid around 9 - 11 years old growing up in Lake Tahoe there was a horse stables that was close by our house. In the summers my two sisters and I would trade working at the stables and helping customers and horses to get to go on a “night ride” after the stable closed, up through the Sierra Mountains with great views of the lake. I have some amazing~ and some scary memories of those times working and playing with the horses. Horses were one of the first animals a learned to draw as a kid. I eventually switched to riding snowboards and mountain bikes on the Tahoe Mountains~ but still respect my time with the horses! Now I get to see many wild Mustang horses living in Nevada. They are amazing to see in the wild.
